The Lazaat restaurant area is an evocative combination of several different circular spaces which can provide intimacy and privacy or can suit larger social gatherings…… or indeed, anything in between!
A specially sourced variety of rosewood constitutes the furnishings, combined with slate and hardwood flooring, to create a relaxed and tasteful atmosphere which is enhanced by sensitive lighting and an array of candles. The overall theme is “ relax and enjoy.” The Lazaat restaurant can be as formal or informal as you desire, we pride ourselves on being unpretentious, so there is no dress-code. As long as you are comfortable, we are happy! The main emphasis, from our point of view, is on quality and affordability. Also, when the weather lends itself, you can even eat outdoors in candlelit splendour amongst Eastern-influenced gardens resplendent with soothing water features.
The Food itself is really something else! A combination of influences originating from Persia and the near-east, moving throughout Asia and eventually encompassing elements from different worldwide cuisines, giving you the special, eclectic and exciting dishes that constitute the Lazaat experience.
It has been referred to as “World cuisine” and it is an extension of a philosophy that originated in Australia, whereby the chefs express their passion for Asian dishes using the most fresh and natural ingredients whilst at the same time introducing a worldwide influence that gives you a result of healthy, zesty, ultimately delicious and totally unique dishes. All food at Lazaat is created freshly on the premises (we even grind our own spices!) with an emphasis on healthy eating and for those who prefer a less exotic tastea selection of non spiced dishes are available.
As well as the full A la Carte menu available during the evenings (and lunchtimes if you require it) our Breakfasts and Lunchtimes also present an extra Lazaat twist of originality. Both provide a buffet presentation from which you can choose at leisure and means you’ll never be kept waiting at these times.
Breakfast features fresh juices and fruits, cereals, eggs, freshly baked breads and pastries, nice coffees and herbal teas, or if you prefer, you can order a fully cooked breakfast from a wide choice of ingredients to suit your personal taste.
Lunchtime is another unique Lazaat experience with the buffet presenting a fabulous range of ten different, world-wide-influenced, tasty dishes every day to inspire all palates. Take as much, or as little, as you prefer, but most of all, enjoy the flavours, the freshness, the quality and the affordability in our boutique hotel.
